Teddie Hughes lived opposite the Foundry and worked in British Steel. He collected scrap in his horse and trap; his horse was kept in the fields at the back of his house for ten to twelve years.
This photo was taken before the Jubilee procession started.. The cart was brought to the church the day before and parked behind the houses in Baptist Row so that it could be decorated.
The first house in Baptist Row was where Paul Iball and his family lived.
