Nannie Hughes' Stagecoach"

33, Chester Road, Buckley

1915

The driver was my father, Harold Hughes. The family ran a Grocer's shop in Lane End where the Chinese Restaurant is today, opposite the Prince of Wales flats (8.2010) and next to Gearbox. It is behind the stagecoach and you can just about see the produce in the window.

The business had the first buses in Buckley.
