On the left hand side, I can remember Edgar Mole's shoe shop, Albert Williams' Grocers, Teddie Bellis' Chandlers, Crozier Jones' Clothes Shop (Gatehouse) and Fred Griffiths' Newsagents.

On the opposite side was Burkhill's Barber's and Sweet shop, then three houses, then Mrs Bellis' Sweetshop with ice cream, then the bank on the corner.
