Dear Madam
Having recently (April 30th) concluded a "winter season dance contract", I beg to offer my services to you for the coming "summer season". I am a violinist, 38 years of age, of good education and appearance, and with 15 years expereince in all branches of the musical profession. (The enclosed copies of testimonials & press cuttings will give you some idea of my abilities).
Although I play dance music, I should prefer to provide the usual "light" music which is so popuar in hotels, nowadays, such as musical comedy selections, operatic & light popular melodies. I can provide other experienced instrumentalists, but would especially recommend my trio (violin, cello and piano) which I can augment if required.
I have an extensive library of music suited to this class of playing, containin all the favourite piees and selections.
