Eric Hayes is 90 - and celebrates at the Buckley Society Library Archive Session"

Mr Eric Hayes had been an enthusiastic supporter of the Buckley Society Community Archive and had worked very hard over several years to add his knowledge and experience of Buckley to a large variety of subjects. When he was 90, we had a small celebration during one of the fortnightly session in the library when the noise level was even higher than usual! The lady on the left (Eric's right) is his daughter, Barbarba. Mr Bill Fisher was his rival in supporting the work of the archive so, here we have two of the stalwarts having a well-deserved rest.
