FOREWORD TEXT

FORWORD

In welcoming all our patrons to this Tournament I wish to thank them most heartily for their generous support, without which it would not be possible to promote a Tournament, bringing boxers from far and wide.

It is this type of Tournament that gives to the promising boxers the opportunity to gain experience and thereby progress in their chosen sport.

I would like to thank Mr. D. Keeley for the use of the Hall and training quarters and also Mr. J. Mullen our trainer and Mr. L. Towell, Hon. Sec. for their unfailing efforts to make our Club a success.

We, the Committee feel honoured also to thank the Northern Division of the Welsh A.B.A. and our Hon. Medical Officer Dr. McKeogh for their valued and steadfast service.

May we finally thank all who have participated to bring enjoyment to us this evening by their efforts.

E. M. WILLIAMS Chairman.
