************

The Buckley Board School was known as Bistre Board School as it was in Bistre Parish. In "Buckley 'Board' 100 Not Out" by Leslie Rowlands, it states on p.7:

"The Bistre Board School, as it was called, under the Mold School Board was opened in December 1877. It is now a hundred years old and still the same structural building."

The book is reproduced in full in the archive.

There are two entries in the archive with "Bistre Board" on the group photos. They are this entry and 146.16
