A special treat was given to the patrons of the Palais de Danse on Friday evening, when the famous "X.L." Orchestra provided the music, under the conductorship of Mr H. E. Rowlands, A.C.V.. During the evening the orchestra played two of Mr Rowlands' s compositions. The song-waltz "Sweet Caroline" was much appreciated.
