At the Monthly Meeting of the Town Council held on the 28th November 1978 I was asked to convey to you the Council's sincere appreciation of the magnificent publication compiled by your good self and for the excellent exhibition which was so delightfully staged. The publication and the Exhibition undoubtedly warranted the highest praise and the painstaking and untiring work put into these projects by yourself and your colleagues warrants everyone's appreciation and thanks and the Council has recorded in its Minutes these sentiments.
