I was in the school from 1934 til I went to St. Matthew's School.

The first class teacher was MIss Lamb who wore heavy earrings which dragged her ears down.

The second teacher was Miss Davies; she was very pretty. As I was top in her class she bought me a cardboard tube of pencils as a present.

The third one was Miss Hewitt, whose brother was the manager of the Midland Bank.
