This plaque was taken from the Northop Hall Miners' Institiute building prior to its demolition and donated by me and my husband to the Buckley Society in October 2008. Dr Collier used to hold surgeries there as well as in Buckley.

The new community Pavilion in Llys Ben, Northop Hall was officially opened on 29th July 1994 by the Mayor of Delyn at that time, Councillor Kenneth Corbett. At that time all village meetings would have transferred from the Miners' Institute to the new building. The local newspapers were reporting between March 1995 and November 1995 that there were proposals that the old building should be demolished to make wasy for a new car park. I believe it was finally pulled down early 1996.
