"The Buckley Cancer Research Committee netted £100 thanks to the Buckley Angling Association who raised the cash through a Charity Night and Fishing Match. Handing over the cash is Steve Halliwell, the Fishing Association Chairman and netting the cash are Mrs Bertha Joy, a member of the Buckley Cancer Research Committee and the Vice Chairman Nellie Kendrick."
