1896
The sign on the bus says "Hughes Buses."
The library archive group thinks that this is Nanny Hughes' Bus. The yard used to be where the Coronation Gardens are today (2008). The date is estimated as c. 1880. It is suggested that the group using the bus could be the Ladies Club who had their own event the day after the Jubilee.
