During the past summer months the Sports Club Senior Cricket Team has played eight matches on the Hawkesbury Sports Field. The results are as follows;-

May 28th - Fletchers X1 (lost). June 17th - Hawkesbury Y.C. (won).

June 24th - Summers Marsh X1 (won). June 26th - Drury (B.K.O.) (lost). June 30th -

Workingmen's Club 'A' (lost). July 9th - Hawkesbury Y.C. (won). July 15th - Buckley U.D.C. (won). July 20th - Summers Transport X1 (won).

Also on May 21st married members of the Club played the single members, which resulted in a resounding win for the single members.

At the moment Club funds are rather low but good returns are expected from a Grand Evening's Entertainment, with a Buffet, which is to be held in the Parish Room on 22nd September at 7.30 p.m. We hope all members of the Parish will support this effort because as soon as the fund is high enough equipment can be purchased so that winter activities can begin.
