Mrs Charles Gladstone will now declare the Hall open and unveil a plaque

to commemorate the occasion

After the Lord Bishop and Mrs Charles Gladstone have been conducted around the building, all those assembled are invited to enter the Hall and take Tea, as guests of the Parochial Church Council

The planning of the Church Hall project was delegated by the Parochial Church Council to a Building Committee. During the period of building 1971-1972. the following were members of this Committee:

Dr. M. R. Herford, Secretary of the Parochial Church Council; Mr. R. Weigh, Vicar's Warden; Mr. J. Hewitt, People's Warden; Messrs. L. Atherton; G. E. Davies; C. Dray; A. Hewitt; C. Hodgson; T. Hodgson; J. C. Jones; T. LIoyd; D. H. B. MiIIward; C. Newton; P. C. Roberts; B. Taylor and Miss I. V. Edwards.

The first Chairman of the Church Hall Committee was the late Mr. J. E. Ellis. Past Chairmen of the Building Committee were Mr. D. Owens and Mr. J. C. Jones.

The Builders were Shones (Buckley) Ltd.
