King's College Hospital where Wilfred Lamb was treated after being wounded"

King's College Hospital, Denmark Hill, London

1917

Post card caption:

King's College Hospital, 4th London General R.A.M.C. (T) Denmark Hill, S.E.

A large part of the hospital, which had been at the Denmark Hill site since 1909, was used for military purposes in WWI.

The date of the post mark is 6th Sept. 1918.

The address can just be made out as "42, Brook Street, Buckley" but the message is indecipherable. Wilfred had by this time been in hospital recovering from his wounds for a long time.
