My Nan used to day that the Lewis' built the house in one night, and that so long as there was a chimney and hearth with a fire, they could call it their own. I'm sure that the last one to live there that I know was Ruth Lamb who was my great great grandmother. The little house on the end was probably the lock-up where they used to put prisoners on the way to the courts (Mold?).
Ruth was married to David Lewis whose father was Robert Lewis, potter, whose father, Thomas Lewis, also a potter.
