Gomer Peters was the cousin of Wilfred Owens whose letters sent home during active service in WWI are reproduced in this archive. Gomer is mentioned in the letters. See 42.15 for details.

 

The motor cycle was a Douglas.

Edwards Owens was not in the army; he was a brother to Wilfred Owens.

Gomer Peters was shot in the arm while on active service and was discharged.

Fred Reynolds was reported missing during the war.
