NOTES
We thank patrons for congratulations innumerable we have received regarding our August programme. We advertised it as one of our best, and have been told many times that there is no shadow of doubt that this is true. During the month we introduced Madame I'oma - you all know what she did and what a wonderful performance she gave. We hope during this month to be able to introduce another high-class variety turn.
WATCH OUR BILLS.
Regarding this programme - there is not a picture included but that should appeal to a Buckley audience - every one is picked specially to suit. There are two great Fred Thompson productions; a Coogan super; picture version of one of the finest musical selections 'In a Monastery Garden' and a great picturisation of the famous 'TESS' story
We must also mention the 'Fight and Win' series - a popular addition to our programme featuring the inimitable Jack Dempsey. If you see the first you'll want to see the lot.
COMPETITION. As above, we are running 'In a Monastery Garden'. There are many young violinists in the district. We offer a prize of £1 to the local young man or young lady (under 21 years of age) who gives the best rendering of this fine piece of music. Entries to be in not later than Thursday Sept 17th.
