The house was a doctor's surgery. First - John Griffiths (Dennis Griffiths's brother).

Second - Dr Margaret Roscoe Herford ( she was there in 1959) and then she moved to Liverpool Road. Third - Dr Richard Trevor Hughes (his father and grandfather had practices in Hawarden).

Dennis Griffiths lived in the house around the time his brother was there.

Dennis Griffiths bought the house after Dr Herford left and Dr Hughes used it as a surgery. Dr Hughes later moved his surgery to where The Marches is now (3.2006).
