This cottage, on the edge of the former Powell's Pottery/ Green Meadows Laundry/ Lithgow Seaka site, is about to be demolished to to make way for a housing development. The person living in the cottage moved to a new bungalow on the site. The archeologists visited the cottage prior to demolition to make a record of its inside but there was nothing of historic value as the place had been renovated and extended over the years and all trace of the old cottage had gone. The original extent of the cottage was between the two chimneys.
