In June 2006, Arthur Roberts, Clare Roberts and Frances Wilson were presented with certificates from the president of the Methodist Conference, the Reverend Tom Stuckley, leader of the Methodist Church in Britain at a special service at Bistre Methodist Church for preaching in Buckley and Deeside. They are members of the Bryn Methodist Church Alltami. Clare Roberts had been preaching for 50 years and Arthur Roberts and Frances Wilson for 40 years. Austin Jones from Bistre Methodist Church was also presented with the certificate for his 50 years of preaching.
