I did the work for numbers 11 and 12 of the mine capping project. It was one of the rare pieces of work for which I could work without reversing the artwork.

They are situated outside the civic centre in Ebbw Vale. Number 11 covers a pumping shaft.

Newman Evans was the manager of Catherall's Brickworks. We worked well together during the installation. He subsequently worked for North Wales Timber and then Ruabon Brickworks before retiring.
