RECENT FIELDWORK IN THE BUCKLEY POTTERIES - (132.1)
The article contains a drawing of each of the nineteen potteries and a decription, plus various other images. These are entered separately under 132. 2 - 27.
SITE 4. SJ271651
1815 (John Lewis jnr); 1871. The site is now occupied by a modern bungalow and garden. The position of a pan, the kiln and conduit are still visible. There is a small heather-covered dump on the common itself.
A small amount of nineteenth century pottery and kiln furniture has been recovered from the dump and the bungalow garden.
