RECENT FIELDWORK IN THE BUCKLEY POTTERIES - (132.1)
The article contains a drawing of each of the nineteen potteries and a decription, plus various other images. These are entered separately under 132. 2 - 27.

? 1750; 1781 (Joseph Codrell's sister); 1815 (John Taylor); 1860 (Taylor and Son); 1871; 1886 (Charles Taylor).
The site is now occupied by a number of houses, gardens and pasture. Some pottery structures are probably incorporated in the extant buildings. The site of the kiln, chimneys, drying sheds and blunging pits can be seen as crop marks in rough pasture.
Some nineteenth century pottery and kiln furniture has been recovered from the gardens.
