The business at North Wales Timber ran from c.1967 until 1987 when it moved over to the Pinfold Industrial site. Mr Richard Jones was the manager.

The site is now a small housing estate called Willow Grove. (2005)

George Shone had previously worked at the Trap Brickworks as a hod carrier and on the door at the Palace Cinema.
