Baptist, Nant Mawr

This school was formed in the year 1890, when the chapel was opened. Previous to this, services were held in a cottage known as "Ship Villa", originally a public house.

Baptist, Daisy Hill

The Baptist friends had their beginning (1878) in the house occupied by a Mrs Price, Daisy Hill, where services were held for two years. Afterwards the building at present used by the Salvation Army was rented and the cause continued there until the New Chapel was opened in 1882. The School is about 50 strong. Superintendent, Mr. E. Parry, Church Road.
