1961
In December 2005, the site of the Empire Garage was bought by DKS Properties Ltd, who also bought the old Baths at about the same time. They applied for planning permission to build a detached house and 16 apartments in a four-storey block. The Buckley Town Council expressed concerns about parking provision for residents and visitors in a part of the town which already experienced parking and traffic flow difficulties.
