Note on Henry Hayes by James Downey in the North Wales Pioneer June 29th 1916. His youngest daughter, Eleanor Ethel Hayes was married to Rev. E. J. Roberts (not from Buckley) at Bistre Church. The reception was at Hawthorn Cottage with the honeymoon in Llandrindod Wells. Mr Hayes gave the newlyweds a piano and Mrs Hayes gave household linen. The account details all the many presents along with who gave them.
