In 2006, a "golden mile" of festive lights was turned on on Thursday Nevember 30th at 6pm. by the Mayor Councillor Ken Iball.

BUCKLEY FESTIVAL LIGHTS.
You are invited to bring in the Christmas Spirit by joining the Mayor when he switches on the Festive Lights:
Thursday 27th November 2003 at 18.00 Hours
in front of the Council Offices on Mold Road.
The Buckley Town Band will be leading the Christmas Carols and Fairground attractions will be available for toddlers nearby.
Please take care when crossing Mold Road and all young children should be accompanied by an adult.
