People today (2009) can remember in the 1950s that beer was poured from earthenware jugs into pint-sized mugs as The Nant Inn.
In July 2010, The Nant Inn, run by licensee James Duff, was presented with a Pub Excellence Award for Beer by Punch Taverns out of more than 1,300 nominations. It had also been nominated for the Morning Advertiser's Great British Pub Awards.
