This photo was sent to James Bentley in April 1997 by Dr Peter Davey, Director of the Centre for Manx Studies in Douglas, Isle of Man.

He noticed the ridge tiles on the roof of a small guest house, Herbert Lodge, Donnybrook, Dublin and thought Mr Bentley might be intersted in seeing them. From what can be made out from one of the tiles, the inscription reads: ? Co, Manuf.c.t. Hawarden, Flintshire.
