Thelma Shone's cottage, newly thatched"

Cold Arbour Cottage, 110, Chester Road, Buckley

I took a photo of the cottage just after it had been re-thatched, I think for the last time. I believe the occupant, Thelma Shone, moved to another house and the cottage hasn't been lived in since. It is now in a ruinous state (2003). It was a fairly typical cottage for Buckley but council housing, with increased ameneties, was becoming available.
