Football Club's Revival
There is a prospect of Buckley United Football Club being revived next season. This club was one of the most popular that ever played in the Liverpool County or West Cheshire League, but owing to the ban put upon Welsh clubs playing in the English Leagues two seasons ago, by the Welsh F.A., the committee decided to disband rather than be coerced to play in the Welsh National League. When Buckley United disbanded there was a debt of over £300 upon the club, but this has been reduced to £150. It is the intention of the committee to call a meeting of townspeople, form a new committee and executive, together with a supporters' club if desirable, and seek election to the Welsh League next season.
