Ted Messham"

I only met Ted Messham once. Some years back, when he had moved to Rhuallt, he contacted me and asked me to arrange a meeting with him and his friend Jack Whormsley. Jack and I turned up, I think, on a Sunday afternoon and I wish I had had a camera ready to record the expressions on their faces when they first saw each other after Ted had opened the door. Ted had prepared a lovely meal for us and during the visit the conversation flowed between the two of them while I mainly just sat and watched them enjoy each other's company.
