At the time of this photo, Eva was 49, Robert 61 and Eva 24 and unmarried. She was working at Courtaulds silk factory in Flint. Miriam married John Probert and they lived in Cricklewood, London, moving to Mynydd Isa when he retired about 1974. They bred Yorkshire terriers. I negotiated the deal with the house as they were still in London.

Miriam was killed while driving her car through Northop in October 1988, aged 80. She was living at Bod Offa Road, Mynydd Isa. Her service was at the Salvation Army, Connah's Quay.
