John Probert married Miriam Roberts. He worked on the railway all his working life, retiring in 1973. He came from Penyffordd and worked in Cricklewood and retired to to Mynydd Isa. He died in Chester Infirmary aged 75. The service was at the Salvation Army, Connah's Quay.
