Plunger for releasing glass balls (alleys) used as valves or stoppers on lemonade bottles"

This device used to be fixed to a door and pop bottles and aerated mineral bottles could be opened by pushing the glass ball (alley) against it.

 

The plunger is made of wood and is about 6 cm long
