The Roberts family in their car"

78, Brunswick Road, Buckley

1920

The family moved up towards Daisy Hill from the 6 1/2 bazaar and Robert Roberts built 78, Brunswick Road as a fish and chip shop. It was later to become James Bentley's Chemist. The car is parked in the drive. The old catholic church is just across the road.

Robert was in the process of building the house when there was a bad storm, which managed to destroy the top part of the building. He had to rebuild it.
