Portrait of Dennis Griffiths by Thomas Dempster Jones"

This picture depicts Dennis Griffiths wearing the red carnation that he always wore while conducting during the performances for the Buckley Amateur Pantomime Company. It was painted from a photograph. The portrait hung in the Hawkesbury Community Centre before it was cleaned and went into private ownership.

 

It was exhibited at Amateur Artists International, Warwick Square, London
