This truck belongs to a different firm from Collins, the main fairground people. Wallace was another firm that brought rides to the fair for the Jubilee.
I remember the "Bumper Cars", where you got told off for bumping! The other name was "Dodge 'ems". We should have been trying to miss instead of bump! But it was more fun to bump. There was also a ride called the Skid which was like a Waltzer on an arm on a smooth steel floor.
