Hawkesbury Bowling Club, Mill Lane, Buckley

David Davies, Chairman, and Lesley Williams, Secretary, took part in a sponsored bowl against members of the "A" and "B" teams and friends. They raised £500 towards the provision of outdoor lights around the green. Both teams competed in the Flintshire Midweek Bowling League.

The lights were never put up.
