The Pentrobin Methodist Church celebrated 125 years in several ways. On Friday 21st February, there was a very interesting display of photographs and memorabilia supplied by members and organised by Linda Davies, Church Steward and Mary Evans. The display was arranged chronologically, with sections on early history and each decade of the Twentieth Century, covering all aspects of the Church's work and activities, including the Jubilee. It also included information on prominent past members. The display boards were situated in a zig-zag down the pews which made it very easy to see the panels.
In June 2003, the display was in Buckley Library and proved very popular.
The display was entitled:
THE BEGINNING OF METHODISM AND A HISTORY OF PENTROBIN

On March 2nd at 11 am and 6 pm there were special anniversary services led by the Reverend Donald Ryan, a former chairman of the North Wales District of the Methodist Church, now retired.
On March 13th the last service in celebration was conducted by the Reverend Ian White, the president of the Methodist Conference.
Linda Davies wrote and published for the event a book:
