When I was a kid, Mrs Nan Wilcock lived next to the Co-op in Ewloe place. She used to come to the slaughterhouse with a bucket. He used to have a pig with its throat cut. She collected the blood in the bucket to make into black puddings. The butchers and neighbours used to buy the black puddings.
Mt mother used to make bread next to the post office there.
Dennis Griffiths with his mother and father lived in the post office. He played the piano which we could hear.
