1945
Eric was a prisoner of war in WWII. Eric Hayes's memoir, "About me in a Nutshell" principally describes his experiences as a prisoner of war during World War Two. A comprehensive collection of correspondence, photos, diagrams etc. have been added to the archive over many months and it was decided to collect some of them together in a publication.
