FIRE DOORS were used for ovens and kilns.

MALT KILN TILES were used in the fermentation process in beer making. The small holes prevented the grain from escaping.

FINIALS were placed on the end of the roof ridge as ornamentation as well as providing strength to the finish of the roof.
