Buckley Junction Railway Station"

Buckley Junction Railway Station, Buckley

1965

My son, Mark, was about ten at the time I took this photo. Mark now works for a railway firm, LMS (Line Management Services). When I was a boy I used to parade up and down the platform with my uncle's station master's cap on.

This building was the waiting room for the Wrexham line. There was wooden seating around the room. It was demolished in the 1970s.
