Gregory's Aerated Water Works"

Aerated Water Works, Chester Road, Buckley

1938

My sister Freda worked at the Mineral Water Works from around 1935 to 1940. There were times when the bottles used to explode and several people received nasty injuries. A bottle once exploded in my sister's hand severing the tendons in her finger. The bottles used to explode because of the gas inserted into the bottles as part of the process.
