Christine Longworth had previously given this talk in Liverpool and had kindly offered to come to Buckley to enable more Buckley people to listen to her talk and see the pottery. The event was very well attended and attracted a lot of interest. Members brought along their own pottery to supplement the older pottery from the collection at Liverpool. Christine acknowledged the work done in the 1970s by James Bentley and others in excavating the post-medieval pottery at Brookhill in particular.
