The Lane End car park was formed by the Buckley Urban District Council on the site of the cottages at 14, 16, 18, Chester Road and J. Roberts' Ladies and Gents Outfitters. See 6.68 for 1921 advert, 14.7 for 1952 advert and 49.11 for 1917 advert. Part of Number 18 was used as a shoe shop run by Mrs Palmer for a short time.
